How your tattoo looks in the future depends not only on its execution, but also on the healing process.

Protecting your tattoo right after it's done
After your tattoo is finished, we will apply a “second skin” bandage. This is a very thin medical film applied directly onto the tattoo. Unlike standard plastic wrap, it won’t slide off, and you don’t have to change it every 3 hours. It should be kept on for 24 to 48 hours.
During the healing process, make sure to closely monitor the tattooed area. If any adverse reaction occurs, contact us immediately! Keep in mind that allergic reactions to this type of bandage can sometimes happen; in such cases, it must be removed immediately.
What are the benefits of a "second-skin" bandage?
The advantages of a second-skin bandage include, among other things, that you don’t have to worry about protecting your tattoo, even while the skin is still an open wound. Additionally, it prevents you from staining your clothes or bed sheets. You can shower with it on, although you must remember to avoid excessively soaking the tattooed area and using hot water. If no chafing or irritation occurs, the tattooed area remains dry, and plasma has not accumulated, you can keep the bandage on for up to 48 hours. Keep in mind that the longer you keep it on, the harder it will be to peel off.
Care after removing the bandage
The moment you remove the bandage, wash the tattoo with a clean hand using lukewarm water and natural soap. Next, pat it dry with a paper towel, wait 5–10 minutes, and apply a thin layer of specialized tattoo aftercare cream (which is available for purchase at our studio).
Repeat this process 3 to 4 times a day. You must not let the tattooed area dry out; make sure it stays moisturized at all times for at least 2 weeks after getting tattooed. To prevent any loss of pigment, do not scratch the tattoo or pick at any scabs if they appear.
When exposed to the sun, always use sunscreen! Remember that you need to take care of your ink all year round, even after the healing process is complete, so that it looks great for as long as possible.
